Samsung has recently sent the May 2022 security patch updates for the carrier-unlocked devices – Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, Galaxy S20 Ultra, and the Galaxy S20 FE 5G in the US. Now, according to the information, the carrier-locked version of the Galaxy S20 FE 5G has started getting the new security update in the US.
As per the changelog, the latest update for the Galaxy S20 FE 5G is rolling out with the firmware version G781USQS7FVD4. Only Sprint has released the update as of now, but we expect all other US carriers to release the update within the next few days.
If you have a carrier-locked model of the Galaxy S20 FE 5G in the US, you can now download and install the new software update on your device. You can do that by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the latest firmware file from our database and flash it manually.
