Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Large has been recently spotted on the Indonesian telecom certification site. Now, the popular site WinFuture site has published renders of the Galaxy Watch 5 as well as the core specs.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 series – Watch 5 and Watch 5 Pro to be launched on August 10, 2022, alongside Galaxy Z Fold 4 (Fold4) and Galaxy Z Flip 4 (Flip4).
Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 will have two sizes – 40mm and 44mm. The first one will sport a 1.19-inch AMOLED display at 396×396, while the second one sports a 1.36-inch AMOLED display at 450×450.
The top variant, Galaxy Watch 5 Pro gets the same display as the 44mm size. According to the information, Samsung uses sapphire glass that makes us sure to avoid scratches.
The key highlight of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Series smartwatches is the battery specs. The 40mm Galaxy Watch 5 has a 284 mAh cell, with a 410 mAh cell in the 44mm option.
The South Korean tech giant is said to increase the watch’s battery life from 40 hours to 50 hours. The Galaxy Watch 5 Pro, on the other hand, is quoted for 80 hours of endurance according to this leak, thanks to the 590 mAh battery under the hood.

As per the latest leak, Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 will retain the same Exynos W920 chip as last year alongside up to 16GB of storage. Unfortunately, the RAM specs are not available yet.
The Watch 5 also has NFC, eSIM for LTE models, and a revamped health sensor apart from the sensors used for heart rate, ECG, and similar features.
