As we all know Samsung comes with so many exciting features to engage its users. And make their user experience more reliable in their products. Here we discuss the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 pros and cons so let’s move to know more.
What are the pros and cons of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4?
As far as we are concerned, these are the most important positive and negative points that you have to take into account when you are considering the purchase.
Galaxy Z Flip 4 pros and cons:
This landed the new Galaxy Z Flip 4. This is already the fourth generation of Samsung’s new-style flip phone. Then you have to count the 5G version of the first Flip as a generation, of course, as Samsung indeed seems to do. But apart from that the number, it is clear that the device has been developed considerably since the first version.
In 2022, the device is sturdy and the design slick, the software is increasingly functional, and the hardware is fast. The Galaxy Z Flip 4 is no longer a trial balloon, but – probably – the most popular foldable ever. Yet – just like any normal phone – it just has its own set of advantages and disadvantages. We will list the most important for the users.

Z Flip 4 cons:
The battery is still not huge:
Samsung itself puts a lot of emphasis on the fact that the battery of the Galaxy Z Flip 4 is a lot larger than that of its predecessors. And indeed, he certainly is. Yet a battery with a capacity of 3700 mAh is anything but big in a high-end Android phone in 2022. Especially if it has a 6.7-inch screen. The smallest Galaxy S22 also has a 3700 mAh battery, but a much smaller display. The Z Flip 4 will probably obtain through a day with a full battery
charge. But it is a big difference.
No flagship cameras:
The Z Flip 4 also brings improvements in the field of the camera, but here too the comparison with the S22 is telling. Samsung’s non-folding top model is cheaper and has better cameras. For example, the Z Flip 4 still does it with a 12-megapixel main camera, and a telephoto camera is missing. The Galaxy S22 has a 50MP main camera, and a telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and you can now buy it for a few hundred euros less.
Dust remains your enemy:
To be fair, the Galaxy Z Flip 3 is a remarkably rugged phone despite the folding/flip mechanism. And the Galaxy Z Flip 4 goes even further here, with better materials, such as Gorilla Glass Victus+. But the device still does not have a rating for dust tightness. And that, while this can pose a major threat to the hinge. So beware of things like fine sand, before you accidentally sprinkle it in the wheels (of the hinge, so literally!).
Z Flip 4 benefits and pros:
Especially the first three of the mentioned four negatives are important in our opinion to take into account in your decision whether or not to buy the Galaxy Z Flip 4. But there are also a few weighty positives.
Compact design:
Of course, the main plus of the Galaxy Z Flip 4 is the design. And that in several ways. It is the most compact 6.7-inch phone ever. Fold it shut, put it in your pocket, and you’d forget you have it with you. By the way, that closing is a pleasure in itself, thanks to the extremely solid hinge that feels even better. The Z Flip 4 is perhaps the gadget with the highest eye-catcher content. And also an eye-catcher of which – more than with regular phones – you can choose the colour scheme yourself (see the Bespoke option at Samsung itself).
Fast
The Galaxy Z Flip 4 isn’t just beautiful. With the new Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, it is – together with the Z Fold 4 – the fastest Galaxy on the market. Faster than the Galaxy S22 (Ultra), for example. In terms of hardware, it is therefore ready to last for years. This brings us to the next point.
Advantage: updates
Flexcam:
While we’re actually mainly marking the pros and cons here, there’s one specific feature of the Galaxy Z Flip 4 that’s worth highlighting. With the Flex Cam option, you can take selfies with the main camera by placing the phone half-unfolded. But you can also film entire conversations, meetings, classes, or lectures, for example, without having to hold your phone or balance it awkwardly against something.
