Reportedly, a piece of information came from the South Korean tech giant, Samsung. And the same has disclosed that it has been reducing the trade-in value for its foldable smartphone Galaxy Z Flip 3. Alongside the successor of the same i.e. Galaxy Z Flip 4 has been launched recently through an unpacked event 2022.
In this global grant launch of the fourth generation foldable devices, which we can say is a Galaxy foldable launch. The company unveiled its range of next-generation foldable which are the Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4. Also, alongside, certain other galaxy premium devices including the Galaxy Watch 5 as well as Galaxy Buds 2 Pro have launched via a Galaxy Unpacked event.
This unpacked 2022 was announced by the South Korean tech giant via press note. To be noted, the scheduled timeline is 10 Aug 2022 which was started at 9 a.m. ET/6:30 pm IST.
Talking about Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4, then both these devices are enriched with a lot of enhanced features and advancements. This Samsung foldable range will come with outstanding camera capabilities, a powerful and most efficient Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 processor, a Dynamic AMOLED panel, revised hinges, improved multitasking, and a new upgraded and more powerful adequate battery & OIS, IPX8-certified housing, and much more.
Reducing the trade-in value for its foldable Galaxy Z Flip 3
Now, after the successful launch of the fourth-generation foldable. The company aims to earn more profit on the sales of its existing foldable flip 3 smartphones. As the company reduce the trade-in value of the same. They reduced the trade-in value of the Z Flip3 from $900 to $700. While now give $900 for the 256GB model respectively. Although, the exact motive for taking such a decision is not clear yet. But, it is expected that the reduced trade-in value may give more profit to the company to some extent. Whereas, the changes were only made only for a specific model trade-in value.
