Some older Samsung devices are now getting a new software update. Yes, once again Samsung proved how good it is in rolling out the firmware updates. The company is a step ahead of other manufacturers in taking care of its consumers.
Now, the company has started rolling out a security update for their older devices Galaxy Note 8 and S8 series. At this point, Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and S8 series are almost five years old from now.
The all-new firmware update for the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus is rolling out with the firmware number G95xFXXUCDUD1 while the Note 8 getting version N950FOXMGDUG9.
Unfortunately, the latest update is still based on One UI 1.0 firmware and is rolling out across the globe including Asia and Europe with Exynos processor.
As per the changelog, the latest firmware update comes with 417 MB in size. It brings April 2021 security patch level alongside the GPS fix. It also improved the system stability and several under-the-hood improvements.
