Samsung Galaxy M31s Indian users are now getting a new software update in India. A similar update was previously rolled out in Iraq, Jordan, and Lebanon. As per the changelog, the latest update contains system security and stability to enhance the overall user experience.
The Samsung Galaxy M31s Indian units are grabbing the June 2022 patch and stability improvement update with the firmware version M317FXXU3DVH2 and the update comes with 218MB of download size.
If you look back at the June 2022 Samsung bulletin the company has fixed 66 privacy and security-related issues and that have 5 Critical, 39 High, and 1 Moderate level CVE items from Google and Samsung SVEs.
If you use Galaxy M31s in India you can download this update through the Settings of your phone. From here, tap Software update followed by Download and install options.
The device got its first major update in February 2021. Android 12 arrives as the second one in April 2022. We can pretty much assume that the device won’t get further major updates, security patches may still come through.
