Reportedly, Samsung Medison is a global medical equipment company. It is affiliated with Samsung Electronics and is taking part in ISUOG (International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics & Gynecology) World Congress 2022. This Congress is held in London, the U.K. from the 16th to the 18th of September.
In this congress event, the South Korean giant will be showcasing its clinical values and efficiencies. Which is based on Artificial Intelligence diagnostic solutions through several scientific programs.
Meanwhile, Samsung’s symposium will be held on September 18th at 12:35 p.m respectively. This event organises online under the theme of “Samsung’s Advanced AI and Remote Diagnosis Solutions.” The event will be handled by Prof. Julien Stirnemann (Necker Hospital, France). He will deliver research results on the clinical values of two AI diagnostic solutions. The first topic is BiometryAssis which measures the growth and condition of a fetus. And the second topic is HeartAssist which improves the workflow when diagnosing a fetal heart.
Moving ahead with the schedule of the event then Professor Antonia Testa, Who is Scientific Director of the Center for Ultrasound in Gynecological Oncology “Class Ultrasound” of the Agostino Gemelli University Hospital, Rome, Italy. He will demonstrate her experience with SonoSync. Notably, it’s a real-time ultrasound image-sharing solution during Samsung’s Symposium. Here, she will introduce the simplicity and benefits of image sharing as a second opinion. And she will be doing it by remotely accessing a HERA W10 system placed at Gemelli Hospital, Rome from the ISUOG venue in London.
“This will be a live demonstration of a patient scan, voice communication with a sonographer, and remote measurements executed in London. This advancement in ultrasound environment using SonoSync brings telesonography into reality,” said Professor Antonia Testa. “I believe Samsung’s forward-thinking technologies and advanced developments in ultrasound in recent years are quite impressive.”
Samsung Hospitality Suite program’s
To be noted, Samsung will arrange four onsite Hospitality Suite programs with lectures. The program is followed by live demonstrations for customers. To provide an experience of high-performance diagnostic solutions such as MV-Flow. This diagnostic solution is used to visualize the slow flow of microvascular structures and the existence of micro-blood flow.
During this onsite scientific program, Samsung will conduct and showcase online webinars six times during the congress with the help of ISUOG’s virtual platform. Premium ultrasound system HERA W10
At this event, Samsung will also showcase its premium ultrasound system for obstetrics and gynaecology. And this system is known as HERA W10. While the system HERA W10 includes Intelligent Assist (AI diagnostic solutions). Apart from this, it also includes V8 and V7, which is two high-end ultrasound systems that can be used in various medical specialities and also with premium AI diagnostic solutions.
In addition to the above information, the name, “V” in “V7” stands for “Versatile,”. That will indicate its usage and the system can be used in various medical fields such as obstetrics, gynaecology, radiology, orthopaedics, cardiology and more. On the other hand, the V7 host’s features and solutions are seen on premium ultrasound systems. Although the diagnostic solutions provided with V8 and V7 are the same. But the only difference is in their image resolution.
