Samsung has released the September 2022 security patch update over two dozen of Galaxy devices. Now, adding one more device, the Galaxy A40 smartphone users in the Netherlands are now able to install the September 2022 security patch. On the other hand, the Galaxy S26 in the Netherlands start receiving the GPS update.
Galaxy S6 update September 2022 Update: GPX fix
Samsung completed its promise and delivered the GPS fix update for its older devices and now the Galaxy S6 series from 2015 is the next. The latest software update arrived as Galaxy S6 Edge+ (firmware G928FXXU5CVG1).
Vodafone’s branded Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge getting new updates with the firmware versions G920FXXU6EVG1 and G925FXXU6EVG3 respectively. In Belgium, the update is already available on the unbranded S6 and S6 Edge+.

Samsung Galaxy A40 update September 2022 security patch
Samsung has released the September 2022 security patch update to the Galaxy A40 with the firmware version A405FNXXS4CVH1 and it comes with approx. 280MB of size.
The new update is available on all Galaxy A40 models sold in the Netherlands and Belgium. Download the latest software update by tapping system Settings -> Software Update -> Download and Install.
