Samsung at SDC 2022 officially announced the stable One UI 5 availability for the Galaxy S22 Series. The company will release the One UI 5 update to the Galaxy S22 series by the end of October.
The official version of One UI 5 based on Android 13 will bring a slew of features, like deeper Material You integration, improved Dynamic theming and a new Dynamic lock screen, improved widget stacking, multi-user support for the first time on Samsung, privacy dashboard, and more.
Ahead of the new One UI version, Samsung is sending the October 2022 security patch to the Galaxy S22 lineup in several countries. Earlier the Galaxy S22 Ultra Philippines units have already been upgraded with the current patch and now the update expanding to the Singapore users of S22 Ultra.
The October 2022 security patch for Galaxy S22 Ultra Singapore users is rolling out with the firmware version S908EXXS2AVI7 and the update size is 319MB.
The October 2022 security patch fixes over four dozen security vulnerabilities found in Galaxy phones. The update might also include general bug fixes and device stability improvements.
