Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G users are now able to install the October 2022 patch update in the US too. Earlier, the device received the update in India. The latest update for the first S20 lineup phone arrives with the firmware version G781USQS9FVI5.
The current month’s patch is rolling out for the carrier-locked version in the US. The update is circulated via T-Mobile’s network in the US, and we expect other carriers to release the update soon.
If you are a Galaxy S20 FE 5G user in the US with a carrier-locked version, you can download and install the October 2022 security update by heading to Settings -> Software update -> Download and install.
