After the standard variant of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S23 US lineup now the Ultra variant has appeared on the benchmarking platform. According to the Geekbench listing, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra has a model number SM-S918U, which indicates that it is a US variant (“U”).
The folks at MySmartPrice revealed the key specifications of the upcoming smartphone. As per the Geekbench listing, the Galaxy S23 Ultra motherboard is codenamed ‘Kalama’ which is the same as the Galaxy S23.
Under the hood, the smartphone will have Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. There is one prime core clocked at 3.36GHz, four mid-cores clocked at 2.80GHz, and three small cores at 2.02GHz.
The S23 Ultra will come with Adreno 740 GPU onboard and pack 8GB of RAM but we can expect more at launch. Also, the smartphone will run Android 13 OS out of the box (possibly One UI 5.1).
Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra Geekbench score
In benchmark tests, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra scores 1,521 and 4,689 points in single-core and multi-core results. In comparison, the regular S23 scored 1,524 and 4,597 points respectively.
Earlier the Galaxy S23 Ultra visited China’s 3C certification website with 25W fast charging support. Recently, we reported that the South Korean tech giant is reportedly increased the production ratio of the Galaxy S23 Ultra to 50% while the S23 and S23 Plus ratio was fixed to 30% and 20% respectively. The S23 Ultra is reportedly confirmed to feature a 200MP main camera sensor.
