Samsung Galaxy S23 lineup is expected to arrive in February 2023. The upcoming smartphones are also said to BXarrive with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.
Recently, a Geekbench listing for the upcoming Galaxy S23 Ultra already confirmed that the phone will come with overclocked CPU. The CPU frequencies of the Samsung-exclusive Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chips are 3.36GHz for the prime core, 2.80GHz for the performance cores, and 2.02GHz for the efficiency cores. The official frequencies are noted at 3.1872GHz. Also, the all-new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is said to be a 35% faster CPU and a 25% faster GPU compared to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.
Now, the firmware testing of the upcoming Galaxy S23 series is now spotted. According to the latest firmware from the Checkfirm app, the Galaxy S23 lineup is testing One UI 5.1.
