The Samsung Galaxy S23 series is expected to be launched in the first week of February 2023. Now, ahead of the new product launch, a new Samsung camera sensor application is spotted with the trademark ‘XISO-CELL’. This seems to be a new generation of camera sensors.
Samsung XISO-CELL camera sensors
Samsung currently owned a camera sensor called ISOCELL. The first ISOCELL sensor appeared in 2014 in the Galaxy S5. Then the South Korean tech giant added ‘ISOCELL Plus’ and ‘ISOCELL 2.0’.
Now, according to the information, a new application has surfaced with the brand name ‘XISO-CELL‘ – XISOCELL. Apart from just the name, other details are yet to be unveiled.
Earlier it was spotted that Samsung is working on cameras with ‘sensor shift’ image stabilization. In addition, the sensor moves to counteract vibrations – and not the lens. However, it is impossible to determine whether the XISOCELL name is intended for such sensors.
What about the Galaxy S23?
Unfortunately, we cannot sure about the availability of the new XISOCELL in the Galaxy S23 series. So far, the name has not surfaced in connection with those devices, although not all exact details are known yet about the cameras of the S23, S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra.
