Several Samsung devices have already received the December 2022 security patch update. Now the update is expanding to second-generation foldable phones in European countries.
The all-new firmware update for the Galaxy Z Flip 5G is rolling out in Hungary, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Switzerland, the Baltic region, the Netherlands, and the UK with firmware version F707BXXS7IVK7. While the Galaxy Z Fold 2 is also receiving the December 2022 firmware update with the version F916BXXS2IVK7 in Germany, Hungary, Italy, Luxembourg, Romania, Portugal, Southeast Europe, the Baltic region, and the Czech Republic.
As the Samsung’s official documentation, the December 2022 security patch includes fixes for over 65 security vulnerabilities found in Android smartphones.
You can install the December 2022 update on your device by tapping on Settings -> Software update-> Download and install.
