Samsung has now started rolling out an important software update to the Galaxy S20. Released in 2020, the Galaxy S series smartphones have recently grabbed the stable One UI 5 Android 13 update and December 2022 patch update.
A new firmware update in December 2022 month brings a new Maintenance mode for the Galaxy S20, S20+, and S20 Ultra (via Galaxy Club).
As per the changelog, the new firmware update comes with version number G98**XXUFGVL5 and is rolling out to Galaxy S20 series phones in some European markets, such as Germany and Switzerland.
To enable the Maintenance mode can be enabled from the phone’s Settings -> Device care menu when you send your device in for repairs to hide all personal data such as images, videos, and third-party apps while keeping all core functionalities enabled.
