The South Korean tech giant for the Galaxy A53 5G’s carrier-locked variant started rolling out the December 2022 security patch update with version A536USQS4AVL1. The update is rolling out in the US.
Earlier, the stable Android 13 update for the carrier-locked version of the Galaxy A53 5G was rolled out with version A536USQU4BVK3 in the US with the November 2022 security patch.
While the carrier-locked Galaxy S20 FE 5G is now started getting Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update in the US and comes with firmware version G781USQU9GVK8.
To recall, the Galaxy A53 smartphone was launched in March 2022. The smartphone runs on Android 12 OS out of the box along with One UI 4.1 on top. Under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core Exynos 1280 processor. Galaxy A53 features a 6.5 inches Super AMOLED display with a 32 MP selfie shooter. On the other side, there’s a quad-camera island led by a 64MP primary sensor.
