Reportedly, the Chinese tech giant has introduced its Redmi Note 12 series. While its online dedicated sales streamed on the mi.com platform and the company’s official YouTube channel handle on January 5. The company comes up with three models in India, which are Redmi Note 12, Redmi Note 12 Pro+, and 12 Pro respectively.
Moving ahead with the details, Vanilla Redmi Note 12 sports a 6.67-inch FHD+ OLED display. This has a refresh rate of 120Hz, paired with a 5,000 mAh battery and 33W fast charging. This is equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 SoC. Whereas, the Pro models are packed with MediaTek’s Dimensity 1080 chipset.
Its Redmi Pro and Pro+ variants proportionate many things on the specs sheet. They have 6.67-inch FHD+ OLED displays with 120Hz refresh rates. While both of these phones come with a maximum of 12 GB RAM and 256GB non-expandable storage. In contrast the regular Pro charges at up to 67W speeds, on the other hand, the Pro+ will charge at speeds up to 120W.
Redmi’s first-ever 200MP sensor
Speaking about the camera department then the 12 Pro+ acquires the all-new Redmi’s first-ever 200MP sensor. This is made by Samsung, and this can able to shoot a 12 MP photo with 16-to-1 pixel binning. This provides great details, along with HDR in photos.
Notably, Samsung’s ISOCELL HPX sensor is competent in shooting 8K videos. While the Dimensity 1080 chipsets have limitized it up to 4K video recording only. Coming to Redmi Note 12 Pro, then it gets a 50MP primary shooter with OIS. Alternatively, the other two sensors on both pro phones are an 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP depth helper. Also, both of these phones are packed with a 16MP selfie camera.
Talking about the pricing bracket then the Redmi Note 12 starts at Rs 17,999. The other Redmi Note 12 Pro starts at Rs 26,999, and the Pro+ starts at Rs 29,999 respectively. Additionally, Xiaomi unveiled a fourth device in China, the Redmi 12 Explorer Edition with 210W charging. This model has not been launched in India.
