Samsung Galaxy F12 users can now install the latest One UI version based on Android 13. The update is rolling out with the firmware version F127GXXU3CVL4 and is live in India. Alongside, the stable One UI 5 the update also brings the November 2022 security patch to the device.
As per Samsung’s November 2022 document, the update fixes 46 security vulnerabilities. The Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update offers a lot of new features, including revamped UI, new camera options, more customizability features for the lock screen, better animations, and improved overall performance.
Note that this update is rolling out phase-wise, and it may take some time to reach all the units of Galaxy F12. In order to install the latest Android 13 software update you can head to Settings > Software updates > Security updates to check the update manually.
To recall, the Galaxy F12 was launched in India in April 2022 and it comes with Android 11 (One UI 3.1) onboard, and Samsung updated it to Android 12 (One UI 4.1) in August. The phone will get two years of OS updates.
