Samsung has started rolling out a new update to SmartThings on Galaxy Watch. The latest update now opens the door for more smart home controls as well as the capability to see live feeds from Google’s Nest cameras.
According to the official information, the South Korean tech giant says, connected “air purifiers, thermostats, and blinds” will be able to be controlled through the SmartThings app on Galaxy Watch.
Note that currently, Samsung hints that this experience will only be available to Wear OS-based Galaxy Watch models, including Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 5.
The all-new changes can be found on the latest SmartThings version 1.1.08 on the Galaxy Watch. Samsung Galaxy Watch users can now swipe right from the watch face to access SmartThings. Also, Galaxy Watch users can now remotely control connected smart TVs via the Device-to-Device (D2D) control feature.
