Ookla has officially released its Q4 2022 mobile performance report. According to the latest report, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 beats Apple’s iPhone 14 Pro and grabbed the fastest 5G mobile phone title. The Google Pixel 7 Pro ranks second while the iPhone 14 Pro managed to rank in the third position.
The median download of the iPhone 14 Pro Max was 133.84 Mbps; the median download of the iPhone 14 Pro was 130.14 Mbps, ranking third and fourth respectively.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 won the title with 147.25 Mbps; Google’s Pixel 7 Pro ranked second with 137.11 Mbps. The Galaxy S22 Ultra came in fifth with 124.83 Mbps.

The chart that the upload speed and delay of the above five models are relatively close, among which the Google Pixel 7 Pro has the fastest upload speed and the lowest delay.
The company says Samsung devices had the fastest median download speed in the U.S. during Q4 2022 at 79.43Mbps followed by Apple at 72.62Mbps.
