The users of Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 5 can now control a phone’s camera with a smartwatch. Yes, you read it right, the South Korean tech giant has started rolling new software updates to these Galaxy Watches and Buds 2 Pro in South Africa.
Earlier, the same update was rolled out for the Galaxy Watch 5 in Korea, the US, the Netherlands and China. Samsung is now expanding the ability to control a phone’s camera zoom to the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 5 units. The feature will be available on Galaxy Watch 5, Watch 5 Pro, Watch 4, and Watch 4 Classic when paired with a Galaxy smartphone running One UI 5.1 or above with the Camera Controller app support.
The updated Camera Controller feature will be available on the Galaxy Watch 5, Watch 5 Pro, Watch 4, and Watch 4 Classic beginning from February 2.
Samsung will launch the One UI 5.1 during the Galaxy S23 Series event on February 01 and according to the latest leak, the official features of One UI 5.1 are already out which you can over here.
Apart from the camera controls, the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro also started receiving the new 360 Audio Recording update in South Africa. It is the first feature in the Galaxy line leveraging LE Audio, a new Bluetooth audio function.
This new technology brings better audio quality as well as improved latency and battery life. When pairing the Buds 2 Pro with a Galaxy Z Flip 4 or Fold 4, users are drawn into the moment, benefitting from high-quality stereo audio as well as high-quality video.
