The Galaxy A14 5G smartphone was launched recently in India and the US with 4GB of RAM. It is available for purchase in Dark Red, Light Green, and Black color options. Now, the company has started rolling out the first firmware update for its newly launched device.
According to the information, the latest all-new Galaxy A14 5G (SM-A146B) software update is rolling out with firmware version A146BXXU1AWA2. As per the changelog, it brings the January 2023 security patch which includes fixes for dozens of security vulnerabilities, including those in Samsung Knox and Secure Folder.
In order to install the latest software update on your device, you need to tap on Settings -> Software update -> Download and install.
The smartphone comes with Android 13-based One UI 5.0 and as per the Samsung update policy, it will get two major Android OS updates and at least four years of security updates.
