Samsung Galaxy S23 Series Design

The alleged renders (bottom of this article) of Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra show the camera placement, colors and design of the new flagships. The S23 Ultra and Plus appear to share a metal frame and glass cover design. Both models appear in four colors: Phantom Black, Cotton Flower (cream), Botanic Green and Misty Lilac (pink or lavender).

The three of the S23 Ultra’s lenses (likely the primary, ultra-wide and 10x telephoto cameras) are bigger than the other two. The Ultra’s side buttons also sit slightly lower than those on its predecessor.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra is arriving with a 200MP sensor – the ISOCELL HP2 chip– that Samsung recently shared a lot of insightful info about. We can say the S23 Ultra is touted as the most significant Galaxy camera upgrade in five years.

The Galaxy S23 Ultra is ready to replace Galaxy S22 Ultra as the best camera smartphone. The new ISOCELL HP2 sensor offers adaptive pixel binning at 4:1 and 16:1, resulting in 50MP and 12.5MP images from that 200MP sensor, depending on the shooting scenario. For reference, the S22 Ultra pixel binning is 9:1 from the 108MP sensor, resulting in 12MP images.

In recent reports, it was claimed that the night photography and zooming capability of the S23 Ultra is greatly improved.

A new poster that confirms the “Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC for Galaxy” has recently leaked. The Galaxy S23 series will get an overclocked version of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, which has a peak clock speed of 3.36GHz.The Adreno 740 GPU is also said to have a clock speed of 719MHz.
