As part of Google’s planning Google Chrome for Android can get functionality to let you purge in search history along with other account activity instantly, instead of digging through their account settings…!!
In the year 2021, Google introduced the ability to purge 15 minutes of account history through the Google app. That also came to Android in the first few months of 2022. Making it easy to delete your browsing history Google Chrome is on the way. Soon they will be adding a quick option to delete 15 minutes of history there.
A new flag in Google Chrome for Android spotted by ChromeStory will enable a feature that will allow users to “quickly delete their last 15 mins of data.” The flag doesn’t specify if this is just browsing data or account activity as a whole, but it does mention that the option will appear in the three-dots overflow menu in Chrome.
Once you have access to the feature will be able to quickly delete your last 15 mins of data through the three dots menu. Maybe later this feature can also be observed in Chrome for iOS or desktop.
However, for now, it remains unclear when this feature will debut but it certainly sounds like a handy option for sensitive browsing. If the option would also later appear in Chrome for iOS or desktop, it may be more blooming when hearing that.
