Leakers these days tend to a revelation about Apple’s iPhone 15 Pro lineup, and they speculated that the device may house a brighter display, potentially up to 2,500 nits. Notably, the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max got the brightest display of any iPhone. While Apple could go a step ahead for the fourth coming next generation. Hence it is predicted by several leakers that next may be capable of up to 2,500 nits of brightness.
Reportedly, the leaker “ShrimpApplePro” retweeted a post recently from another leaker, namely “Connor” or “OreXda” which mentions Samsung’s display panels. On the other hand, Samsung Display also being a long-time supplier of screens to Apple for the iPhone.
Talking about an original tweet from “Connor” depicts that “Samsung’s Next Gen Panel’s reach to 2500 nits.” Further, the leaker also states “And still I dunno it’s M13,” the same would be two generations after the M11, the same used in Samsung’s recently launched Galaxy S23. While adding their comment to the tweet, ShrimpApplePro says it “Potentially will be on iPhone 15 Pro Max.”
Since iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max comprise maximum brightness of 1,000 nits. That further goes to 1,600 nits of peak brightness for HDR content. And 2,000 nits of peak brightness for outdoor usage.

Adding to the above details then it is also not new for Samsung to make panels that are capable of high brightness levels. For instance, it creates outdoor signage that works at up to 2,500 nits. Although, the same for large screens and not compact displays.
ShrimpApplePro is the well-known track record
On the other hand, Samsung has yet to reveal its M13 display at the center of the rumor working. While it’s still an imaginable prospect. Since multiple leakers participated in this rumor, ShrimpApplePro is the well-known one. And has a good track record that is fairly accurate. Considering his past tweets then, Shrimp did rightly predict that the Apple Watch Series 8 wouldn’t be redesigned. Also, one about the dimensions of the iPhone 14 Pro was justifiably accurate.
“Connor” or “OreXda” hasn’t been put in earlier AppleInsider reports, since they deal with information about unrevealed Android processors and products, not Apple. On the other hand, “Connor” doesn’t refer to Apple at all. It also appears that the post is more about Samsung’s display technology rather than its applications.
