Samsung Gallery app offers several hidden features on the latest One UI 5.1. The Android 13-based One UI 5.1 is finally announced with the latest Galaxy S23 Series.
Now, according to a Reddit user, there is a new option in the One UI 5.1 Gallery labs: You can lock your albums with your unlock code or with your fingerprint.
Note that Samsung Gallery Labs does not come enabled by default, you need to enable it by tapping on the Samsung Gallery app -> hamburger menu (more options) -> Settings -> About Gallery option -> Version number -> tap 5 times. Now, the Gallery Labs will be enabled.
Experimental features/options can be enabled in the labs. Like the default, Gallery doesn’t group photos by day/date but by month. You can enable this setting in the Gallery Labs. There are plenty of features available you can choose as per your preference.
