Samsung officially launched a new organic light emitting diode (OLED) TV in the Korean market for the first time in 10 years. The company has started receiving pre-orders for new 2023 TV models such as Neo QLED and OLED TVs.
The company will hold online events for the launch of new TV models from Feb. 21 to March 8, while offline events will kick off on March 1 at Samsung Digital Plaza and department stores. Earlier it was released in the North America and Europe markets.
The all-new OLED TV model will come out in three sizes — 77, 65, and 55 inches. According to the official statement, Samsung OLED TV models are equipped with a ‘neural artificial intelligence (AI) quantum processor 4K’ to offer high-level brightness and color while maintaining the advantages of OLED technology.
An OLED TV is a self-luminous TV whose pixels emit light on their own without backlights. Currently, LG Electronics is the leader in the global OLED TV market. Now, Samsung entered the market again as demand for OLED TVs increased, analysts say.
