Samsung SmartThings on the Galaxy Watch let users control their smart home. Galaxy Watch users can conveniently control their connected devices from their wrists with the latest SmartThings update.
With the latest update, you don’t need to open the app – you can simply swipe right from the watch face to access SmartThings. The new features of SmartThings for Galaxy Watch will be available with version 1.1.08.
New features of SmartThings for Galaxy Watch
- Live stream from the Home, Doorbell, Ring and Nest cameras that support the WebRTC protocol. Doorbell cam users can speak directly to guests visiting their home using their Galaxy Watch.
- Control an expanded list of Samsung and third-party devices such as: SmartTag, air purifiers, thermostats and blinds on the Galaxy Watch that were previously only controllable via smartphone.
- SmartTag: Start and stop the beep and control the volume.
- Air Purifier: Fan speed adjustment.
- Thermostats: temperature settings and control of the desired temperature for heating and cooling.
- Shades: Three custom commands (open, close, pause), shade level adjustment.
These features are available on Galaxy Watch 5, Watch 5 Pro, Watch 4 and Watch 4 Classic.
