Samsung has recently participated in ‘ISH 2023 (International trade fair for Sanitation, Heating and air)’ event for the first time. Samsung showcases its high-efficiency cooling and heating systems such as ‘EHS Mono R290’ and ‘EHS Mono HT Quiet’, and heat pump ‘EHS (Eco Heating System)’ new products in Frankfurt, Germany, from the 13th to the 17th.
What is ISH 2023?
ISH 2023 is a periodical air-conditioning and air-conditioning system exhibition, and Samsung Electronics prepared an exhibition hall of about 489㎡ to display high-efficiency cooling and heating systems such as ‘EHS Mono R290’ and ‘EHS Mono HT Quiet’, heat pump ‘EHS’. (Eco Heating System)’ new product.
The EHS product is an air conditioning system that replaces the existing boiler, and it is possible to supply hot water as well as cooling and heating. It generates less carbon dioxide compared to boilers and continues to grow, especially in Europe.
EHS Mono R290 Key Specs
- Applying R290, a natural refrigerant.
- It has an ozone depletion potential (ODP) of 0 and a global warming potential (GWP) of 3.
- It improved energy efficiency (Seasonal Coefficient of Performance, SCOP) compared to existing products, and has strong performance such as being able to supply high-temperature water of up to 75℃ for heating.
EHS Mono HT Key Specs
- It comes with low-noise technology.
- It operates at a minimum level of 35dB(A).
- Realizes 100% heating performance even in the extreme cold of -25℃.
Also, it won the ‘Design Plus’ award from the organizers in recognition of its sustainability as well as its performance and design at this exhibition.
“We will continue to strengthen our penetration into the European heating and cooling market with EHS products that use eco-friendly, high-efficiency refrigerants, including the differentiated products introduced at the ISH 2023 air conditioning and air conditioning exhibition,” said Young-Jun Choi, executive director of Samsung Electronics’ home appliance division.
