Galaxy S23 issues caused by using non-genuine accessories

If you use non-genuine or non-certified covers and accessories on your latest Samsung Galaxy S23 Series then you may face several phone features-related issues. Some non-genuine cases (covers) cover the microphone and air vent grooves, so the other party may not hear your voice well or noise may occur.

For the camera, don’t use a non-genuine camera protective film (glass) as it may create moisture around the camera or foreign objects may become trapped due to the decoration. This may cover the microphone part at the bottom of the camera, resulting in poor communication/sound, and poor quality and out of focus when shooting with the camera.

Don’t use any non-genuine cases and accessories that utilize magnetism, it may create issues with S Pen functionality, and the camera may not operate properly when taking pictures.

In addition to genuine accessories for mobile products, Samsung Electronics operates the SMAPP (Samsung Mobile Accessory Partnership Program) to support the use of accessories from various partners.
