Samsung’s upcoming foldable devices the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 are expected to launch later this year. The company is likely to launch two premium foldable phones in the second half of 2023. Ahead of the official debut, several rumours and leaks revealed more and more details about the upcoming Samsung foldable phones. Now, the latest renders of the Galaxy Z Flip 5 have been revealed by Twitter user Tim Tom 0.
These new renders might have given us an idea of what colours we’ll be choosing from when the phones are available to buy. According to the previous leak via Ross Young, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 will get at least three, while those choosing a Galaxy Z Flip 5 will have four options. The Galaxy Z Flip 5 will be available in beige, gray, light green, and light pink.
Young further added that the foldable phones will be available in limited BeSpoke colour options, along with a few Samsung online store exclusive variants.

Both the foldable devices are expected to feature the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC for Galaxy. The same SoC has been customised for the Galaxy S23 series. This year, the cover display of the Z Flip 5 is said to get bigger and better. As per the latest leak, the Z Flip 5’s outer display will be 3.4-inch tall. It may sport a dual-camera setup on the outside. There will be a 6.7/ 6.8-inch Full HD+ AMOLED foldable display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
Meanwhile, the Z Fold 5 will look identical to its predecessor Z Fold 4. The foldable phone is expected to feature three circular cutouts and an LED flash on the back. The foldable phone is also said to be 13 grams lighter than the Fold 4 at 250 grams.
The key highlight will be a new water-drop hinge mechanism instead of the existing U-shaped hinge. The Fold 5 is likely to spot a 6.2-inch outer display, whereas the foldable AMOLED display will be 7.6 inches diagonally tall.
