Samsung is expected to begin mass production of the hinges for the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 in early June. In fact, the latest report claims that Samsung will release new Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 folding screens at the end of July.
Now, according to the latest information, Samsung will soon add another 10-megapixel front camera to the Galaxy Z Flip 5. This means that it offers – at least in terms of sensor resolution – no improvements compared to the front camera that is now in the Galaxy Z Flip 4.
As per the Geekbench benchmark database, the upcoming foldable models to have model number SM-F946U ( HERE ) and SM-F731U. The first is the American version of the Z Fold 5, the second the American Z Flip 5.
In terms of specifications, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Z Fold 5 are said to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. The Galaxy Z Flip 5 has 8GB of RAM. The Z Fold 5 is equipped with 12GB of RAM.
