The Samsung Galaxy smartphone comes with a powerful camera. But to add more control to your smartphone camera you need to install Samsung’s Camera Assistant app which brings a bunch of camera settings, giving you much more control over both the camera and the photos it takes.
The Camera Assistant app is only available on Samsung devices and currently, it is limited to some Galaxy S Series models. The app is available on the Samsung Galaxy Store.
The Camera Assistant is currently available for the following devices.

- Galaxy Note 20
- Galaxy Z Flip 3
- Galaxy Z Flip 4
- Galaxy Z Fold 2

One UI 6 coming in H2 2023
According to the Korean community’s camera in charge, the company will bring the next One UI version possibly One UI 6 in the second half of 2023. As per the camera in charge comment, the Camera Assistant will be available to Galaxy A phones starting with One UI 6.0.
