Samsung Z Flip 5 and Z Fold 5 will launch with 25W charging, appears on 3C listing

Samsung is expected to unveil new foldable smartphones, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and the Galaxy Z Flip 5 early this year. Now, these two new devices got listed on 3C Certification.

According to the listing, the model numbers are Galaxy SM-F7310 (Z Flip 5) and SM-F9460 (Z Fold 5). The charging speed is claimed to be 25W charging, which carries the model number: EP-TA800. Both the foldable devices have passed through the CCC (China Compulsory Certificate) certification process (via MyFixGuide).

This seems to be outdated, as other Samsung competitors are already providing better charging speed devices. For example, the Vivo X Fold 2 supports 100W wired charging and more.

Earlier it was revealed that the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Fold 5 will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. The chipset is based on TSMC 4nm 2nd Generation process.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 may come with a larger 3.2 inches cover display, but it may include the same 10MP in the single punch-hole of the display. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 is reported to feature the exact 6.2 inches external display as in the predecessor model.
