Google adding search bar to Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides

Google is adding and mending certain things to its tools for a better user experience. It was just a recent event when Google App for Android gets a large Search bar and tweaked the menu bar in Docs. Now the source is reflecting that Google added a prominent search bar to Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides.

Previously searched-for tools appear in the search bar history by tapping the field again, while find & replace is integrated as the last search result. The previous Google Docs search functionality was housed in the Help menu. The old facility will address, soon after the new one arrives.

These refined tool-finding capabilities aim to help you quickly locate relevant features or functionality using your own words. For example, if you search “who last viewed this document,” the Activity dashboard will surface.
