After the Galaxy S20 FE, now Samsung has started rolling out the Image Clipper update for the Galaxy S21 Fan Edition in India. Image Clipper is a feature of the latest Galaxy S23 Series device. Samsung has brought it to several S Series phones and even Galaxy A Series devices are now joining the race.
The latest Galaxy S21 FE update, which includes the image feature, also adds April 2023 security patch.
Image Clipper now available on Galaxy S21 FE
As per the changelog, the software update comes with firmware version G990EXXU5EWD2 and is rolling out in India. As usual, you can install the latest update from the phone’s Settings > Software update > Download and Install.
All you need to press on image, hold, and instantly crop objects from photos using the Gallery app. You can then copy it, share, or save the crop as a new image. This feature was first introduced with the Galaxy S23 series running One UI 5.1.
