Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 in July this year. The foldable phone’s specifications and features have already leaked online. A new leak has now revealed the official-looking renders of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy foldable phone.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 Renders
The leaked renders are coming from @OnLeaks in collaboration with SmartPrix. The latest Galaxy Z Fold 5 render shows the classic Phantom Black color. The design looks familiar as its predecessor, but yes the company will bring changes under the hood (software and hardware).
As per the latest leak, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 dimensions are 154.9 x 129.9 x 6.3mm when unfolded and 54.9 x 67.1 x 13.5mm. The phone is also just 13.5mm thick. This is due to the new waterdrop hinge.
The upcoming foldable device from Samsung is said to launch with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy, and possibly start around $1,799. The Galaxy Z Fold 5 is said to sport a 7.6-inch foldable display. The AMOLED display will support a 120Hz refresh rate. The variant listed on Geekbench had 12GB of RAM. It also revealed that the Galaxy Z Fold 5 will run Android 13 out of the box.
Apart from the above specs, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 will come with 256GB/ 512GB/ 1TB storage options and have LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 4.0 storage. As per the latest renders, the Fold 5 will come with a triple-camera setup on the back. The device will feature a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide camera and a 10MP telephoto camera lens. The device is said to offer up to 8K 30fps video recording.
