Update 3 – May 01, 2023: Samsung has now started rolling out the April 2023 security patch to the carrier-locked versions of the Galaxy Note 20 and the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra on the AT&T network in the US. The update is pushing out with the build number N98XUSQU4HWD1.
The latest software update carries firmware version N98XUSQU4HWD1 and brings with it the April 2023 security patch, which fixes more than 60 security issues.
Update 2 – April 25, 2023: The Galaxy Note 20 Ultra is now getting April 2023 security patch update in India. The latest firmware update is rolling out with the build number N986BXXU6HWCC.
Update 1 – April 23, 2023: Samsung has started sending out the April 2023 security and camera update to the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra users in Romania. The latest update bumps up the device’s firmware version to N986BXXU6HWCC.
The April 2023 security patch brings fixes for over 60 security flaws found in Galaxy smartphones. The update may also improve the system’s stability. In order to install the latest software update on the above-mentioned devices, you need to head over to Settings > Software update > Download and install.
The update might also include general bug fixes and stability improvements. It is also expected to bring the Image Clipper feature that debuted with the Galaxy S23. Earlier the update was released for Germany, Indonesia, Southeast Europe, Thailand, the Philippines, and Vietnam users.
