May 10/2023: After releasing the May 2023 security patch update to over 15 Galaxy devices. Samsung is now started rolling out the May security patch to the Galaxy A73, Galaxy S20 FE 4G, Galaxy Z Flip 4 carrier-locked, Galaxy Z Fold 4 carrier-locked and Galaxy S21 FE.
The latest software update for the Galaxy A73 brings version number A736BXXS3CWE1 and it is rolling out in Brazil. The S20 FE users in Russia can install the latest firmware update with the build number G780GXXU4EWD2.
Moving to the next, the latest foldable phones Z Flip 4 and Z Fold 4 from the South Korean tech giant have started receiving the May 2023 security update with the firmware version F721USQS2CWD9 and F936USQS2CWD9 in the US.
The new software for Galaxy Z Flip 4 is currently available on Metro PCS’ and T-Mobile’s networks while the Z Fold 4 update is currently available on Comcast, Metro PCS, T-Mobile, and Xfinity Mobile’s networks in the US.
The May 2023 security patch fixes over 70 security flaws found in Galaxy devices. Apart from the above devices, the Galaxy S21 Fan Edition is also receiving the latest patch update with the firmware version G990EXXS5EWD4 and it is available in Brazil and could be released in more regions soon.
