Samsung plans to launch the first time to hold a foldable phone public event in July in Korea. Where on July 26th in Seoul, the Korean tech giant is to introduce a new foldable phone….!! The change in the strategy in both the time and place of the release leads to several curious news in the industry which ultimately ‘popularize foldable phones in earnest. Holding an unpacked event to showcase the Galaxy Z Fold and Flip 5 in Seoul in the last week of July on the 15th. Samsung plans to forward the schedule by two weeks as it was held on August 10 last year and on August 11, 2021, respectively,
Therefore for the year the new foldable phone will be officially released on August 11 after a public event on July 26. Industry experts believe “In order to boost the company’s performance due to the sluggish memory semiconductor industry, it is more necessary than ever for the smartphone division to perform well.”
Samsung decided to change its strategy to sell foldable phones ahead of Apple, which introduces new iPhones in September every year. Also, will release the Galaxy S series early the following year when the new iPhones are less effective. Samsung has been introducing flagship models for the first and second half of the year in March (Galaxy S) and August (foldable phone) every year. Samsung is expected to make significant changes to the design and usability by increasing the external screen of the Z Flip from 1 inch (1.9 inches) to 3.4 inches this year.
The company has held foldable phone launch events only in the United States, such as New York and San Francisco while putting the Unpacket even on hold.
An official familiar with this issue convicted:
“Since the Galaxy Z Flip/Fold is a trend-setting product, there was a discussion to open it alternately in global cultural cities.” We are considering holding the event in major cities.
” Some predicted that the Busan Expo would be held in Busan in consideration of publicity effects. But it was reported that it was decided to be held in Seoul for practical reasons such as global recognition and event effects. Regarding this, Samsung Electronics said, “The launch date and venue of the next foldable phone have not yet been decided.”
