Samsung Galaxy phone comes with the pre-installed Google product in it, letting users take advantage of the utmost facility provided through that. This time the search giant choose to enhance the user experience through the ‘Google swipe actions’ function, making the messaging app more customizable….!! Apparently, adding more options to the swipe actions, it’ll help you sort out the trash in your inbox more conveniently on many Samsung phones.
Gmail already has the ability to swipe gestures, letting people right swipe and another one for the left swipe, in 2018. Here, both actions archive the email. In July 2022, the swipe gesture feature made its way to the Google Messages app as a beta test. Which gives three options: archiving texts, deleting them, and turning the swipe feature off.
Google Messages swipe action feature isn’t widened yet
At present the feature is visible in the Message app v20230512_01_RC00 beta. As Google Messages is beta testing new swipe actions. Though some are reporting that the setting wasn’t available for them on the latest beta app. And one who received the feature has reported that the setting is gone. Which suggests it may be a server-side change.
But it is assured once the feature stability there will help the users mark the messages as read or unread with a single swipe. Additionally, you can tweak the swipe actions inside the Google Messages Settings under Swipe Actions. And the feature would make the swipe actions on the Messages app comparable to those on the Gmail app. Hope you like that. Therefore, stay tuned to know upcoming affairs via @Samnew24…
