South Korean tech has reportedly recorded an operating profit of 300 billion won in Q1 2023 in terms of the Tablet segment. Yes, you read that right, the information is shared by the reliable Twitter tipster Revegnus.

As per the tipster, “The operating profit margin for tablets stands at around 10%, surpassing the 7-8% levels seen in smartphones and smartwatches. Tablets demonstrate higher profitability compared to smartphones, which face intense price competition, and smartwatches with lower initial selling prices.”

Samsung is gearing up to launch the new tablet series – Galaxy Tab S9, Galaxy Tab S9 Plus, and Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra. The base model to arrive with the model numbers SM-X710 (Wi-Fi), SM-X716B (5G Global), SM-X718U (5G US), the Galaxy Tab S9 Plus to arrive with variants SM-X810 (Wi-Fi), SM-X816B (5G Global), SM-X818U (5G US) and the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra model to launch with model numbers SM-X910 (Wi-Fi), SM-X916B (5G Global), SM-X918U (5G US).

Under the hood, the Tab S9 Ultra would be powered by an overclocked version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Other Ultra mode specifications includes – 14.6-inch 2,960 x 1,848 display, 16GB of RAM (LPDDR5X), and an 11,200mAh battery with 45W wired charging.
