Canalys recently reported the shipments of high-end smartphones for the first quarter of this year, Samsung’s Galaxy S23 Ultra was the most popular high-end Android phone…..!! High-end($500 and above) smartphones bucked the global trend by growing 4.7% YoY, exceeding 1/3 of worldwide shipments in Q1 2023, as has been disclosed by the tweet post. Against the overall trend in the smartphone market, it lessens by just over 13%.

Samsung’s Galaxy S23 Ultra was the top-selling high-end Android phone in Q1 2023
With great dominance over the others, four iPhones from Apple are top sellers, topping the list. The iPhone 14 Pro Max is top on the list, with the iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14, and iPhone 13 as leading siblings. Straight below that at fifth place, Samsung’s Galaxy S23 Ultra was the top-selling and, in turn, most popular Android phone globally.
Though Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra didn’t earn that top slot, but there is no doubt it occupies a special part in the fans’ hearts. Being an expensive one Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra review reveals famed performance and battery life are compelling. Especially in a time when Apple’s top iPhones have been largely criticized for poor battery life, earlier this year.
Other top Android models include the Galaxy S23 and S23+, as well as Galaxy S22 and S21 FE, Xiaomi 13, and Huawei Mate 50. Well, the most interesting point was that the foldable Galaxy Z Flip 4 is all jabbed the top 10 for worldwide smartphone shipments in Q1. The device had launched several months prior to Q1. Meanwhile, organizing to be a top seller so far out is actually quite surprising, and a good signal for foldable in general.
