Samsung Galaxy Watch 6, Z Fold 5, Z Flip 5 and Tab S9 smart products from the South Korean tech giant are gearing up for its highly anticipated official launch. Multiple sources have shed light on what we can expect from the upcoming Samsung watches. Adding to the excitement, an official representative has disclosed a key feature that will be present in the Galaxy Watch 6.
The key information is revealed by Samsung Community Manager for Galaxy Watch in South Korea. The notable enhancement involves an additional capability within the Emergency SOS function. The upcoming Galaxy Watch 6 Series watch will transmit the user’s most recent and accurate location to designated emergency contacts. This means that if the user happens to change their location for any reason, the emergency contact will promptly receive a notification about the updated location. This update aims to eliminate any difficulties in locating the individual in need.
Additionally, the watch will continue to make calls to pre-saved numbers and send a message containing the current location. With this new inclusion, it becomes even easier to receive essential assistance promptly. This move is particularly beneficial in remote areas, where users may frequently need to change their whereabouts due to valid reasons.
The official representative stated that this change will be implemented in the One UI 5 Watch beta version and will also be available for the Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 5 series.
The Galaxy Watch 6 Classic is said to arrive with rotating bezels, similar to Watch 4 Classic. The upcoming Watch 6 Classic to sport a 1.47-inch display with a 470 × 470 pixel resolution. The device is also tipped to pack a bigger battery than the outgoing model. Rumours also say that the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic might pack a 425mAh battery, bigger than the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic’s 361mAh battery.
