Samsung is gearing up to launch its highly anticipated foldable smartphones, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5, in July this year. While official details about these 2023 foldable devices have been scarce, a new report suggests that they will debut with Samsung’s One UI 5.1.1, which is built upon Google’s latest Android 13 operating system.
According to the latest report, the all-new firmware featuring One UI 5.1.1 has been observed for the upcoming two models: SM-F731N and SM-F946N, which are believed to be associated with the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 respectively. As per the image below, the all-new firmware versions for the Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 are F946NKSU1AWF8 and F731NKSU1AWF8 respectively.
Additionally, it is anticipated that these smartphones will be powered by the advanced Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 System-on-a-Chip (SoC). The latest firmware development signifies Samsung’s commitment to providing users with an enhanced and seamless mobile experience, combining the new features of One UI 5.1.1 and the latest Android version.
