This year Samsung is breaking its official tradition by hosting its July 2023 Galaxy Unpacked event for the new Galaxy Z Fold 5, Z Flip 5, Tab S9 Series and Watch 6 Series in South Korea instead of the usual location in the US. This marks the first time the event will be held in Samsung’s home country. With the confirmation of the Unpacked event on July 26, Samsung released a brief video showcasing the story behind the shift in location, titled “Journey to Seoul.”
As per the video below, the company shows a series of renowned cities along the route to Seoul, symbolizing the path of the Unpacked event. The journey video shows Cape Town, New York, Milan, London, Riyadh, Bangkok, Tokyo, and Beijing with proper Kilometers [KM].
The event will be streamed live on Samsung US Newsroom, Samsung.com, Samsung TV Plus and Samsung’s YouTube channel beginning at 7 a.m. ET.
For the United States users Samsung offering $50 Samsung Credit to reserve the Galaxy Z Flip 5 or Z Fold 5. You can sign up on Samsung’s website here using your name and email address to receive a $50 credit.
