Samsung is currently the major player in terms of foldable smartphone technology, leading the way while the competition has continuously grown making challenges for the Korean tech giant. Major smartphone manufacturers (OEMs) are now working on fold and flip devices.
In response to the gain more popularity, Samsung is preparing to unveil two new foldable phones – Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 at the end of July 2023. The Galaxy Unpacked Event is scheduled to take place on July 26, showcasing Samsung’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of innovation.
Galaxy Z Flip 5 Dummy Units Leaked
Now, ahead of the offical launch, the dummy units of upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 5 are now leaked online.

Earlier, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 leaked renders show that the device will be available in at least four colours — Lavender, Mint, Cream, and Graphite. The upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 5 is said to pack a bigger 3.4-inch cover display, a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 120Hz refresh rate display with variable refresh rate technology to enhance power efficiency.
Under the hood, the new flip phone will arrive with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The Galaxy Z Flip 5 will be available in multiple SKUs, with double the internal storage on the base model (256 GB) when compared to the Z Flip 4. Also, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 is also expected to come with a 512 GB storage option.
For optics, the Z Flip 5 to launch with dual 12 MP cameras with a dedicated ultra-wide angle lens and then a 10 MP selfie camera. It will be packed with a 3,700 mAh battery and also said to support fast wired and wireless charging.
