Galaxy S24 Ultra tipped to get a new 200MP camera sensor

Samsung is expected to launch the three new Galaxy S Series smartphones – Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra early 2024. Now, ahead of that the rear camera information is now tipped by a well-known tipster Ice Universe.

Galaxy S24 Ultra tipped to get a newer 200MP camera sensor

The upcoming Galaxy S24 Ultra is tipped to feature a 200MP primary camera like its predecessor but with a newer sensor. The South Korean tech giant is looking to include a 200MP ISOCELL HP2SX camera sensor, a more optimized version of the ISOCELL HP2 used in the Galaxy S23 Ultra.

It has an optical format of 1/1.3-inch and an individual pixel size of 0.7µm. It will likely feature Super Quad Phase Detection autofocus, 8K 30fps video recording, and 16-in-1 (12MP) and 4-in-1 (50MP) pixel binning modes.

Meanwhile, earlier it was confirmed that the S24 Ultra variant to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, 12GB/16GB RAM, 256GB/512GB/1TB/2TB storage, IP68 rating, and a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging.
