Samsung is expected to launch the new Galaxy S24 lineup in early 2024. Yes, you read that right, the South Korean tech giant is planning to launch the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus and Galaxy S24 Ultra in January 2024.
Now, ahead of the official information, the tipster Ice Universe and Revegnus revealed that Samsung will launch the new Galaxy S24 lineup on January 18, 2024.
The upcoming models are expected to arrive with dual-source chips (Exynos and Snapdragon). Recently, according to a report from Gamma0Burst, Qualcomm is working on two versions of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. The first is the 4nm version based on TSMC’s N4P process node and the second one to be based on TSMC’s 3nm N3E process node.
It’s reported that the Galaxy S24 Ultra will feature a brand-new 50MP 5x telephoto camera, replacing the 10MP 10x periscope lens found on its predecessor, the Galaxy S23 Ultra.
The Galaxy S24 Ultra is said to launch with a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, ultra-slim bezels, and a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera.
The Galaxy S24 Ultra is rumoured to offer a base configuration of 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, alongside a high-end 2TB storage model. While the primary camera is expected to sport an impressive 200MP lens, details about the remaining optics are still under wraps. Additionally, the phone’s battery, certified by Dekra, is said to have a capacity of 5,100mAh, ensuring prolonged usage between charges.
