Samsung Galaxy S24 Series pre-launch began successfully in Korea starting January 26th. Several buyers came across the official stores and mobile carrier stores, including ‘ Samsung Gangnam’.
Meanwhile, Samsung Electronics extended the pre-opening deadline for the ‘ Galaxy S24 Series ’ from January 31 to February 8.
As the quantity prepared at some stores exceeded the quantity for pre-order, the pre-opening period was extended and adjusted to avoid inconvenience to customers .
Samsung also recorded 1.21 million pre-sales in one week of the latest S24 lineup. 1.21 million units is the highest sales record among Galaxy S series pre-sales in history , with an average of 173,000 units sold per day.
At around 8:40 a.m., as soon as the Samsung Gangnam doors opened, people lined up to enter with reservations to purchase products in advance online and then pick them up at the store. The line wrapped around the experience space on the first floor and extended up to the stairs leading to the pickup zone on the second floor. Those who made advance reservations at the pick-up zone on the second floor were able to receive the product after verifying their identity with the QR code they received in advance.
